About the Artist
Several of Richard’s paintings are part of the permanent collection of the Italian American Museum in Washington, DC. His artwork has also been featured in Philadelphia’s Franklin Institute and the Haverford Township Historical Society. He has also exhibited his work in shows at Alexandria’s Torpedo Factory and the Lorton Workhouse Art Gallery.

“What motivates me to paint a landscape or portrait is capturing the unique character and beauty of the scene or person in combination with architectural features, variety of color, and lighting that creates a mood, balanced composition, and textural elements. Many of my paintings are inspired by what I see in my travels around the world.”
